ALL PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS ARE SHIPPED ONCE EACH MONDAY
This is done to keep the UPS charges as low as possible.  
UPS SHIPPING CHARGES are VERY expensive.

Shop The Adirondacks and HJ Foods LLC shipping process will allow you to select different delivery options for the shipment of your products.  These different options will be presented to you during your purchasing checkout process. Any special circumstances regarding your order may be addressed by calling Customer Service at  (518) 328-9663, or M-F, 9am to 5pm EST.

Products offered at this site are only available for delivery within the continental United States, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico. Shipping rates are higher for packages sent outside of the continental United States. Orders shipped to destinations outside the U.S. are subject to all applicable customs charges which will be in addition to your order. These charges are collected C.O.D. by Shipper. Orders are processed Monday through Friday for non-perishable. In stock items will be shipped within 3 business days. You will be contacted by e-mail if your order cannot be filled completely within three days. 

Products are shipped via freight ground (non-perishable), USPS Priority and UPS 2nd Day Air (perishable food items) or UPS Next Day Air (perishable food items) or United States Postal Service.  Weekend delivery is not available. Packages cannot be shipped to a post office box. PERISHABLE food items ship on Monday ONLY. We are unable to offer shipping of PERISHABLE food items on any day other than MONDAY.

Ground shipping area for PERISHABLE food items includes only the following states: NY, VT, ME, NH, MA, NJ, CT, DE, MD, VA, WV, IN, OH, PA, RI, KY, and MI.  Deliveries to other states MUST be shipped 2nd Day Air Or Next Day Air.

Delays may occur due to weather, availability or during busy shopping periods.

  • In some cases, items ordered together are not necessarily shipped in the same box. Perishable food products will ALWAYS ship separately from merchandise.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping charges are based on the UPS shipping rates plus the cost of carefully packing your order. Neither Shop the Adirondacks or HJ Foods LLC make a profit on shipping.
  • NOTE:  Due to UPS Ground limitations, mixing perishable items and merchandise in one order will result in limited shipping options and increased costs. If you want to order perishable food items AND any merchandise items, please make two separate orders - one for perishable food items and one for the non-perishable items. Your total costs will be less and tracking of the orders is easier. This issue is being addressed and site enhancements are being developed.
